Amanda Dahl started her Operational Excellence (OE) journey long before her Lean and Six Sigma training... she just didn't know it. Follow Amanda through her informal and formal OE journey; she'll share 'wins', discuss the challenges she and others faced, and some of the lessons learned she still leans on today. Amanda also wants to hear from you and for us all to learn from one another, so there will be plenty of time for fruitful discussion. Objectives: • Summary of how a culture of Operational Excellence (OE) is built • What OE looks like in everyday work settings • Tips for overcoming resistance to OE Experience Level: Intermediate About our Facilitator: Amanda Dahl is the owner and operator of her consultancy, Boost Consulting. She has 20 years of experience in operational excellence, program and project management, corporate and business planning, and business development in multiple industries. She is also a Director on the Board of Aguila Copper Corp. Amanda has her Lean Greenbelt certification, Six Sigma Blackbelt training, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, and Change Management Specialist certification. She also holds the Director, Outreach position for the Project Management Institute - North Saskatchewan Chapter and volunteers on the Mentorship Committee for WINWiN-SK. She presents her technical and ‘real-world’ knowledge in an authentic, tangible way to enhance understanding and engagement, and enjoys connecting with people in a meaningful way.
