A good indicator, for me, of whether there were useful takeaways from a presentation is the number of notes I take. The May session with Amanda Dahl on Change Management was excellent. I filled a page with comments, mostly reminders of where things often get off track. Things like; the importance of thinking not just acting, developing accountability tracking for long and short-term targets, and, a big one, the dangers of focusing continuous improvement efforts solely at the frontlines.

Great to hear you'll be attending. And I couldn't agree more about the benefits of in person events.

Hi Jeff, I'm interested to learn why you haven't considered attending the on-line conference?

I misunderstood the purpose of the presentation, I had expected it to be about developing a small focused "Centre of Excellence" in one area/department/group within an organization. What Rob presented was how to develop the whole organization to become a centre of excellence. That being said, the materials were excellent with lots of potential learning opportunities. Having adequate Q&A would have added a great for take-aways. One person in my breakout group had questions about Rod's content, but surprisingly didn't raise any comment in the chat. We might gain more by inviting Rod back to focus on a single topic/tools?
